Responsibilities:
As a Permanent Associate Attorney (Civil Litigation), you will be expected to:
1Handle a wide variety of civil litigation cases, with a focus on employment law.
2Conduct comprehensive legal research and draft compelling legal documents.
3Represent clients in court, arguing motions, depositions, and trials.
4Provide legal advice to clients, ensuring their rights and interests are protected.
5Collaborate with our team of attorneys to develop effective legal strategies.
6Continually update knowledge on changes in laws and legal practices.
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate for the Permanent Associate Attorney (Civil Litigation) position must possess the following
Qualifications:
1Juris Doctor (J.
D.
) degree from an accredited law school.
2Admission to the Connecticut Bar is required; admission to the New York Bar is a plus.
3A minimum of 2 years of experience in civil litigation, with a focus on employment law is a plus.
4Exceptional research writing and advocacy skills.
5Proven ability to handle a high-volume caseload.
6Proficiency in legal research software and Microsoft Office Suite.
7Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with clients, colleagues, and court personnel.
8Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think strategically and provide practical legal advice.
9High level of professionalism and adherence to legal and ethical standards.
