Finance Mid Level Business Analyst (Indirect Tax Technology)

Job Description IBM is seeking an indirect tax analyst to become part of a team supporting global indirect tax. this analyst will collaborate with tax professionals, tax accountants, developers, and consulting professionals to support key job responsibilities: o Tax discovery and gather tax requirements o Root cause analysis of process issues and resolve issues o Develop, document, and perform user acceptance testing o implementation and Maintenance of Indirect Tax Technology o Gather and analyze business requirements from stakeholders The team is located in Southbury CT No remote opportunities exist Will consider relocation for candidates with the right skills/experience Must have the ability to work in the US without current/future need for IBM sponsorship What you'll do: o Perform Indirect Tax Determination o Participate in tax discovery and gather tax requirements o Perform root cause analysis of process issues and resolve issues o Develop, document, and perform user acceptance testing o Assist in implementation and Maintenance of Indirect Tax Technology o Gather and analyze business requirements from stakeholders Required Technical and Professional Expertise 5+ years of experienceworking withIndirect Tax Determination Extensive knowledge in Global indirect tax Preferred Tech and Prof Experience NA EO Statement IBM is committed to creating a diverse environment and is proud to be an equal opportunity employer. The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
