Royalty Management Systems Senior Level Java Developer

Job Description IBM is seeking a Java Developer to join a DevOps squad in the Finance Systems Organization which manages IBM's Royalty Management Applications. Responsibilities include analyzing business needs, working with IT professionals to translate business requirements into IT solutions, and testing to validate the quality of these solutions. In addition you will work with other analysts, and assist in other areas such as coordination of dependencies, management of test schedules, and ensuring quality standards and controls compliance. The IBM Financial Systems, Software Royalty Management DevOps team is located in an agile open space in Southbury, CT and uses physical and virtual tools to collaborate and manage their work. The team is currently seeking Application Developers who will become part of a team that provides IT support to the IBM Finance Systems Organization. You will help leverage our critical skills such as JavaScript, Java, JSF, JPA, Spring, Workflow concepts, Restful API, HTML, CSS, DB2 and you will use a variety of tooling, including jUnit, Jenkins, GitHub, Katalon/Selenium, Docker in the IBM Cloud environment. What you'll do: Design, develop, deploy and maintain the IT Technical Solution Demonstrate a clear pride of ownership for the IT Technical solution Actively participate in the Agile and DevOps development process Propose new ideas, relentless focus on quality and continuous improvement Perform root cause analysis of technical and process issues CIODEM19 Required Technical and Professional Expertise 6+ years Application Development experience Java, Spring, JSF, JPA, Javascript, HTML, CSS, Restful Web Services, Github, SQL Agile Development Practices (Scrum), Behavior Driven and Test Driven Development DevOps Practices including Automated Build, Test and Deployment and Static Analysis using tools and practices such as Jenkins, Artifactory, jUnit, Katalon and/or Selenium, Docker Excellent communication skills and proven problem solving experience Preferred Tech and Prof Experience NA EO Statement IBM is committed to creating a diverse environment and is proud to be an equal opportunity employer. The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
