There is an immediate opening for a producing Resident Director in the Southbury, CT office. The office is a part of the Hartford Market led by Market Executive, Shamus O'Rourke and is part of the Northeast Division.
The Resident Director performs a dual role, serving as both a Financial Advisor and a Leader. The ideal candidate will have ambition to grow as a leader and possess a strong application and understanding of our firm strategy with a deep commitment to growth. Essential in the role is an ability to support, lead and develop the Advisors and Client Associates. He or she should be motivated to grow the office by leading our firm strategy through the Client Experience Standard, Optimal Practice Model, and Goals Based Wealth Management.
The series 9/10 are not a prerequisite but must be achieved within 90 days of being placed in the role.
Southbury is a town in western New Haven County, CT located 40 miles from its parent office in Hartford, CT. Southbury comprises sprawling rural country areas, suburban neighborhoods, and historic districts. It is a short distance from major business and commercial centers, and is within 80 miles of New York City.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
